Ed Corbin bought an ice cream truck through ebay in July of 2011 for $10,500. He made payments through paypal and credit card and did not make the final payment until 9/2011. He had a trucking company pick up the truck and deliver it to his Coral Gables, FL home. Never heard from him. More than 3 months later he files a dispute with Paypal as "significantly different than described" for the last payment of $2,700. Ok, you know how the next part went . . no matter what we replied to Paypal, we lost and they are "disputing on our behalf" with the credit card company he uses. This makes my head want to explode! That's a lot of money to be out for a man that drove a used, more than 20 year old truck, to get back! We are furious! This guy is a Vet and we found a newspaper article during that same time where he had the local people buying his medicine and a doctor offering free treatment because he was being done so badly by the military. Wonder if they know he was buying a business instead of his meds and then figured out a way to beat others out of their money!

Re: Do you really understand how your buyers buy?

<http: disqus.com=""> DISQUS

I've been using your ideas for selling my consulting services (well, in fact, to help others manage their internal chaos before their decision making process make place!) and I've been absolutely successful so far. So thank you for that and I wish you the best in whatever thing you decide to create or care. Very best regards, Alejandro

Re: Work, Asperger’s, Fun, and The Future

<http: disqus.com=""> DISQUS

Say "hi" to the mountain top in Peru. Maybe I'll get there someday as well, but for now, I'll keep reading your books and keeping the faith. Thank you for all you've done.

Re: Sharon Drew’s ‘retirement’ & the Future of Buying Facilitation®

<http: disqus.com=""> DISQUS</http:>

Re: Sharon Drew’s ‘retirement’ & the Future of Buying Facilitation®

Sharon,
As a women in engineering (defense sector for 18 years) and now running her own mail order manufacturing business for the past 11 years, what stories and trials and tribulations we could share. I could totally relate to your feeling of not being able to move small mountains, and of the strained communications within the hierarchy of the management chain. Starting a mail order business was my salvation! I hope you keep this blog updated.
